What was originally invented in 1900 as Bircher muesli by Aargau doctor and diet reformer Maximilian Oskar Bircher-Benner in Zürichberg, has developed, alongside Swiss chocolate and fondue, to one of the Swiss specialities that are eaten the world over: Muesli! Zwicky was the first company in Switzerland to manufacture Bircher muesli in 1946 according to the original recipe using the brand name "Frutifort".
Alongside 18 ready to eat compositions from a variety of types of cereal, refined with nuts, almonds, dry fruits, berries and many more tasty ingredients, you can, of course, also mix your own muesli creation. Our Zwicky flakes and crispy mixtures serve outstandingly well as a basis, which can be combined with seasonal fruit, nuts and milk products or fruit juices. Even if you have special requests you will find the right muesli or muesli basis with us: There are gluten-free, cholesterol-reducing, lactose-free, vegan and 100% Swiss muesli mixtures and flakes.
Here all cereal flakes have something in common: They are made using the a spcial process – the Kollath method® contain the full nutritional value of the raw, fresh grain, the growth and vitality substances, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
